Dear Parents and Students,

We have been busy preparing for another successful year at Hungerford Elementary, and we are excited to share that we have once again earned a “B” school grade! We are proud of our students, teachers, staff, and families for their hard work as we continue striving toward an “A.”

As the new school year approaches, please take note of these important dates:

• First Day of School: Tuesday, August 11
• Meet the Teacher: Thursday, August 6, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

During Meet the Teacher, families may go directly to their child’s classroom, meet the teacher, sign up for PTO, and receive important information for the upcoming school year.

Good News!
Thanks to our generous Partners in Education, all students will receive school supplies at no cost. Bookbags will also be provided; however, families may choose to purchase one if preferred. A supply list will be available on our website for those who wish to donate additional items.

We will also continue to implement our mandatory uniform policy. Uniform tops are available for purchase in the front office (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) and will also be sold during Meet the Teacher. Beginning August 7, the office will reopen on Fridays.

Our goal is to have all students registered before the first day of school. Kindergarten classes are filling quickly, so please register as soon as possible!
